Earth Hour 2010
WWF Earth Hour 2010
Earth Hour 2010 is now in it’s second year and this year to help gain extra UK coverage they have joined forces with the News of the World. The News of the World is the largest selling Sunday newspaper and will be helping to spread the word to it’s readers that on the 27th March 2010 at 8.30pm they should switch off their lights for 1 hour to support the news papers own “Go Green & Save campaign”.
Another supporter of the WWF project, namely HSBC located in one of the largest tower blocks in London’s docklands, will also be making the big switch at 8.30pm with the whole tower being plunged into darkness for an hour.
The WWF Earth Hour project believes there is still time to try and avoid the worst global impacts of climate change, but action needs to start now, so sign up and make sure you are all set for the big switch!
