How TO Survive 21 December 2012

In one kind or another, all faiths and philosophies have taught about the ultimate destiny of man, society, and the cosmos as they do about the 1st things or origins. Many are bibical. The one receiving attention recently is the Mayan Long Count Calendar. It works out the date of creation as August 11,3114 B.C. The calendar is 5,125 years old ending on December 21,2012.

This date has lead to varied folks to realize that the year 2012 is the end of the world in prediction. Supposedly the Mayas received their astronomic calculations from “Kulcan”. Kulcan was called a white man with a beard from beyond the ocean. Some of the people assume the Maya were forecasting the end of a cycle and the start of a new cycle.

The Hopi, an indigenous American tribe that lives in Arizona believe that the world has finished countless times. They think we are approaching the newest “End” and “Beginning” which is to come.

Here are the 2012 prophecies: a collision with the earth from a huge object from space. It could be Nibiru or Planet X. If Nibiru moves thru our solar system the gravitational pull may possibly cause the polar ice caps to slip seriously. This event would cause large changes on the earth. Where there had been water, the surface could end up dry and other areas of land may be flooded. Many students assume the shifting of the polar ice cap would be slow,taking a long period of time.

The reversal of the north and south poles are claimed to lead to quakes, tsunamis, and volcanoes. The north and south poles can’t change position only the magnetic poles which usually take thousands of years.

A Gamma-ray burst from a distant supernova that would annihilate the world .

A global nuclear war destroying the earth.

Enormous extinctions due to natural phenomenon.

A flare-up of the sun causing catastrophes, heavenly harm, weakened magnetic poles and too much radiation.

The cosmic alignment of the Milky Way galaxy with the sun and earth causing an unknown event to occur.
